Remodeling and renovation have been the bedrock of business since 1996. Our projects have ranged in complexity and scale through the years; however, the same philosophy is applied to all projects. The dedication to the sustainability of your project and skilled workmanship is our priority.

Through the years, we have constructed a wide range of remodels, renovations, and additions. Our wisdom from past projects makes us extremely capable and aware of potential problems to focus on. Although the home improvement industry has endless lessons to master, we pride ourselves on being veterans in our industry.

Custom Design

Custom design contractor serving Southern New Hampshire, the North Shore of Massachusetts, and the Southern Maine seacoast.

American Building & Design, LLC Renovation contractors have offered design services since 1996. Almost all of our projects are designed in-house to understand the style, scale, composition, and structure of our projects.

Our design projects have varied from full home designs to simple bathroom remodels. Overall, this critical skill has given us a road map to design functional and unique spaces.

Our renovation contractor design approach is through the lens of a skilled carpenter, coupled with formal design experience, which emphasizes practical “Method and Materials” of the construction trade. Most importantly, we have the skills and wisdom to build the projects we design. This uncommon expertise in the design field differentiates us from the vast number of design professionals because the proposed work is not a theoretical exercise.

Our drafting is done with AutoCAD; on occasion, we do some limited hand drafting and perspective drawings. AutoCAD is the gold standard in computer-aided drafting and has been in the design industry since 1982. Unlike hand drafting, AutoCAD allows edits and alternative options to be quickly executed.

No matter if you have a blank canvas or an intricate, restrictive space, please consider our service. The American Building & Design, LLC renovation contractor is inspired by your design challenge.
